At the helm of Hartwell’s Wheelhouse and Counseling Service is Gloria R. Hartwell, MA-PC, LCPC, NCC. She is a licensed mental health therapist who offers mental health and therapeutic counseling and group workshops in the Baltimore County Maryland Area and Upon Request, Nationally.
Gloria R. Hartwell (aka) Esauren Phyer has been a speaker and presenter at literary functions in Atlanta Georgia, Birmingham Alabama, Kansas City, Kansas, as well as, delivering a presentation for PowerTalk International in Baltimore, Maryland. Writing is one of Ms. Hartwell’s passions.

Ms. Hartwell is motivated and committed to assisting clients in reaching their greatest and most powerful life success outcomes, by providing therapeutic and coaching services that ensure optimal mental and emotional well-being.
She specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and substance abuse, working mostly with an adult population but also providing services to adolescents.
Ms. Hartwell has worked with public, private, and faith-based communities, providing life skills workshops and training. She is currently accepting insurance through Maryland Medicaid, Aetna, CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Cigna.
With experience in various community mental health clinics and addiction treatment facilities, she is a member of the Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors of Maryland (LCPCM) and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
Ms. Hartwell provides independent transformational life coaching to clients in the areas of anger management, assertiveness development, and life strategy goal setting.
She has been a keynote speaker and a motivational speaker in the Baltimore public school system, facilitated her I H.E.R.O. program, and is the author of a contemporary novel.
